Burn Anne Historic Walk

Distance 5km/3.1 miles approximate time 1.5 hours

The Burn Anne Historic Walk was completed in August 2008 after many years of planning.   All the walks in and around Threepwood are lovely however the Burn Anne Historic Walk is without doubt the most sensory and informative.   Walkers are taken along country roads, through fields and woods and alongside the Burn Anne itself.   Many picnic areas have been provided in areas of particular beauty.   This area is abundant in flora, fauna and wildlife and is a lovely place to be still and get life into perspective.      Free Car Parking, a Walking Map and an interactive quiz/treasure hunt for children are all available at Threepwood Farm, please make sure that you collect these prior to setting off.   Dogs are very welcome on the farm but must be kept on their lead and we would simply ask you to respect the country code.
