Monk Strip - Burnhead Farm Walk

From Threepwood Car Park turn L uphill onto tar road, after 30 - 40 minutes walk turn R at junction. Follow the road until it takes a R onto a farm track, take this route past a cottage. (Please note at times the farmer works with cattle on this route, please be patient and give right of way to the farmer) follow this farm track to West Burnhead Farm, veer right, continue to follow track until you come back onto the tar road again, turn L and head down hill all the way. Follow signage for Viewpoint, Pond and Fairy Dell, enter field follow line of fence on your L, continue until you go through kissing gate and follow path down to wildlife pond. Walk around pond and exit via kissing gate then head across field into Fairy Dell, exit the Dell and turn left onto road, you're home and dry, the car park is just around the corner.
